User Profile

I have lived in the Seattle Area since 1999. Transplanted from the California bay area. Humboldt county, where I attended college, has a special place in my heart. My youth was spent moving along the coastlines as a navy brat. I work in software, mostly in software support roles such as config mgmt, tools support,project management, process improvement and process auditing.
My husband, daughter, and I live on the Sammamish plateau. I’m a bit out of my element here community wise, but I can’t imagine living anywhere other than this house on the edge of the forest. So I smile at the local drama wives and the neighborhood competition for the newest SUV – and head off into the forest as often as feasible.
My list of interests range from old interests I have had most of my life (like running and gardening) to new ones (such as paganism, photography) to ones that show up off and on (SM, NLP, poly).
My current favorite interest is self-discovery, which I seem to gain most insight thru self-reflection and insight from friends. Currently I'm reaping benifits of the last bout of self-discovery.
